81, passed away on Sunday April 17, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center
Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Rohrhurst) Mallon, to whom he was married to for 62 wonderful years as of April 10th. Born in North Providence on July 27, 1934, Francis was the son of the late Bernard J Mallon Sr. and Blanche M. (Jacques) Mallon. He had three brothers and two sisters. He worked for Ciba-Giegy for over 35 years before working for the Warwick School Department where he later retired.
He enjoyed fishing, the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. But his favorite pass time was spending it with his lovely wife Patricia and his children.
In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by his cherished children: Helen A. Griffths of Warwick, Francis A. Mallon Jr. of West Warwick, Patricia K. Dominick of Plymouth Mass., Michelle L Lavallee of Pawtucket, Colleen R. Brunelle of Cranston, Michael P. Mallon of Johnson and Sharon M. Leverett of Lubbock , Texas. he is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Visitation has respectfully been omitted.
A private service will be held on Thursday April 21, 2016 at St. Francis Cemetery Smithfield Avenue Pawtucket, RI at 11:00 a.m. in the South Chapel.
